My favourite therapist says the success of a relationship hinges largely on our emotional/communication skills. Are we able to overcome the inevitable obstacles together? Are we equipped to navigate difficulties as they arise? If we’ve cultivated healthy relationship skills, we will take the time to listen and invite the sharing of each other’s experience/thoughts/feelings/needs/wants. Just sayin’ :) Hugs. XO
