I wish I could go back and coach my younger self. I so badly wanted a partner; the support system, a best friend, companion and confidant. There’s nothing wrong with that. But I wanted the comfort of a partner so eagerly that I ignored red flags. I’m not gonna beat myself up, but I am grateful that I gained enough emotional to make a smart decision in love.
