I learned this one the hard way. Thankfully, I took a time out after my last relationship malfunction and spent about a year defining my ideal partner (with the help of genius coaches). I hunkered down and knew I’d wait as long as I needed to. Honestly, I just couldn’t go through another mismatch and then crappy break up. It paid off and it paid off huge. I am eternally grateful.
