I tend to be on fast forward in life, so waiting is really not my strong suit. Fortunately, life experience has been a great teacher. What I’ve learned, above all, is that some stressors and goals require a much longer term view, a little grace and empathetic patience; caring for an elderly parent, waiting for and believing there is a perfect life partner, climbing the corporate ladder, buying a home.
